Hello All,
My name is Dave Bradt and this is my personal blog.
Allow me a quick introduction. I was born and raised in California. San Diego to be exact. I did my undergrad work at UC Davis in northern California and was a Marine Corps Officer for nearly 7 years. During my time in the Corps I learned a great deal about what it takes to lead people in difficult situations. I deployed to Iraq multiple times and it was my distinct honor to have led some of the finest men I’ve ever known in combat. I consider my time on active duty to have been some of the most formative and important years of my life. It has helped me create my unique leadership ethos, which I assure you will be covered in depth in the future, and it allowed me to mature as a man and a citizen beyond anything else that I could imagine. In 2010 I received my Masters in Business Administration (MSBA) from Boston University. I currently live in the Washington DC metro area.
Why am I creating a blog? There are a myriad of reasons but one that stands out would be the need to engage. The need to understand and be understood is one of the most primal needs of the human species. I do a great deal of writing and it’s time I put that writing out into the world. I look forward to hearing the opinions of others on my work and encourage you to engage, share, debate, and contribute.
I will cover a wide range of topics here to include, but certainly not limited to, leadership, lifestyle design, military and veterans issues, coaching, organizational development, athletics, politics, social media and business, and entrepreneurial pursuits.
All views and opinions expressed here are my own.
Make sure to click above and follow my blog. Connect with me on Facebook, Twitter (@DavidBradt), and LinkedIn as well.
Thank you and I look forward to connecting with you soon!
-Dave
