#davesdailychallenge (5): Discipline. The discipline necessary to go from idea to execution is difficult. I challenge you to realize that often, discipline is the simple act of consistently doing the mundane exceptionally well. The professional writer wakes up every morning and writes regardless of what they produce or whether or not they always want to write. Want has nothing to do with it. They do not wait for the muses to bless them with inspiration. They create their own inspiration; the inspiration of hard work and the discipline to see things through. They hammer on their craft and through that discipline they become free.
