#davesdailychallenge (31): Take Off The Cool Hats. To find the highest levels of success in both your personal and professional lives requires a certain level of vulnerability. If you aren’t willing to risk getting hurt by your significant other you’ll never experience the joys of the opposite end of the spectrum. If you play your entire career safe you’ll end up mired in mediocrity. In relation to one of my earliest challenges, “Go First”, I challenge you to take off your cool hat. We all wear them. Take it off and start to view the world and your relationships through a clearer lens; an authentic lens; a lens created by you and for you. When others criticize, because they most certainly will, move forward with the resolute knowledge that living the half life with cool hats firmly attached is no way to reach your potential.
