#davesdailychallenge (35): Improvise, Adapt, Overcome. Thank you to my wife Courtney for today’s challenge! The Marine Corps taught me many things. Among them would be the title concept of what we’re discussing today. Life will be full of obstacles. We must challenge ourselves to view these obstacles as opportunities to grow and adapt our processes in an ever creative manner. We must seek to be mentally nimble thereby ensuring that we are able to overcome the challenges that will inevitably cross our path instead of being defeated by them. The next time you are faced with something you didn’t expect move decisively in both thought and action to improvise new solutions, adapt to the challenge itself and the lessons learned from our improvised solutions, and overcome the temporary setback on your way towards your goal. No plan survives first contact with reality. This process will ensure your plan keeps you pointed in the right direction.
