The Limit Line Is Negotiable – Daily Growth

#davesdailychallenge (65): The Limit Line Is Negotiable. This concept applies to every person, team, and business on the planet. We all come up to limits in our lives. When we hit this limit line only one thing matters. All we have to do is to focus on pushing past that line for just a few steps. Just a few steps is all that matters. Don’t worry about “crushing your limits” or “destroying your competition” or any other modern marketing jargon designed to sell you something you don’t need. This isn’t a discussion about anyone except you and your struggle with yourself. All you have to do is push that line a few steps forward. Here’s the trick though…the next time you come up to your perceived limits, remember that the limit line is a few steps ahead of where it was last time. Remember that you are capable of more than what you previously thought. That sprint workout you did two days ago? Guess what, you’re not going to throw up you’re so tired. In fact you’ll be just fine so put in one more cycle. The two hours you spent writing your book yesterday morning? Guess what, you did it once and you know you can do it again. Now write for two hours and ten minutes. The product you shipped in three weeks last quarter? Is that your team’s best? Do it in 20 days this quarter or produce just a little bit more. This consistent pushing of your personal limit line becomes a habit and it’s a damned good habit to have. Good luck my friend.
