The Myth of Perfection – Daily Growth

#davesdailychallenge (68): The Myth of Perfection. Even though we strive to create flawless organizations, we are dealing with living systems, and they are never completely predictable. Assumptions change, processes are updated, and the “way things are” become the “way things were”. Even if we could perfect our organizations, that perfection is only achieved for a short time. New technologies and techniques soon appear that allow us to constantly make good things great and great things world-class. Remember that the next time you institute any improvement measure in your organization. Move the needle in a positive direction and execute well but don’t worry if things aren’t perfect. They never will be. The good news is that you can still achieve remarkable success with a few flaws. Thank you to the Disney Institute for some of the inspiration for today’s challenge. Good luck my friends!
