#davesdailychallenge (85): A Reason to be an Optimist. I do a lot of coaching and mentoring in many facets of my life. I love it, I really do. Today I stood in front of a few folks and discussed ways they could separate themselves professionally by deliberately building personal brands they believed in instead of having their lives and careers dictated to them. One small reason I am, and always will be, an optimist is the excitement I could see in their eyes. Their questions, both during and after the talk, were outstanding. They understood the power that they each hold and the hard work and discipline needed to meet the goals they’ve placed on themselves. I’m optimistic because I believe in people. I believe in these people. I’m optimistic because I choose to be. If you were there today…thank you.
