#davesdailychallenge (116): The Go-Giver. This book was given to me by a friend, as all great books should be. Like many of the most valuable books I’ve ever read, this book is short, to the point, and doesn’t use unnecessary fluff to impart its lesson. It follows the fictional story of a man named Joe and his path towards learning five laws of “stratospheric success”. I don’t like the fact that they use these words because it has a very internet snake oil salesman vibe to it but after finishing the book I can’t recommend it enough for one MAJOR reason. It drives home the idea of delivering value, service, and authenticity. Much comes from this and it directly supports what I believe the future of business will be in our information rich digital age. We must deliver outrageous amounts of value and benefit to those we serve. From that will come the financial success so many seek. Check it out…it’s quick and worth your time.
