#davesdailychallenge (154): The Influencer Series – Jimmy Fallon. It has been awhile since I’ve brought up the influencer series so when you think of Jimmy Fallon what comes to mind? Funny? Yes. Talented? Certainly. What else? Every time I watch a clip of his on YouTube or catch a snippet of The Tonight Show one thing continuously pops into my mind. While Jimmy is unbelievably talented in his own right and does so many things so well what really strikes me about him is that he is the conduit by which everyone around him is at their best. Jimmy has this way about him that just brings out the best in others and that is the real value that he brings to The Tonight Show. It’s not just people that he lifts up. He brings out the best in situations, both good and bad. Of all the memorials and tributes that were paid when Robin Williams died, it was Jimmy’s simple and heartbreaking authentic discussion of what Robin meant to him and society that I remember the most. That is the thing I take away from the extraordinary talent of Jimmy Fallon. He makes everyone and everything around him better. I have had friends like him in my life and I know firsthand that when you leave their presence you feel like a better version of yourself. So, the next time you watch a Jimmy Fallon clip take a second and watch for what I’m talking about. We should all try to be a bit more of a conduit to bring others up.
