#davesdailychallenge (81): Responsibility and Freedom. The great entrepreneurial venture; the big promotion; the world class romance; parenthood; medical school…what do all of these great achievements have in common? Responsibility. They come with great responsibility. I see people of all ages consistently yearn for more freedom while at the same time pursuing these achievements and thus the responsibilities that come with them. Very rarely do responsibility and freedom come in a packaged deal. I challenge you to pursue something that yields tremendous responsibility but in a venture where you actually want to be. In that you will gain the freedom you seek. Just know that this freedom is often on the other side of very hard work. It’s ok if you take time to experience true freedom but don’t be afraid of responsibility. It yields great things.
